About This Event

The California Fitness Forum is our flagship competition held annually here in beautiful Southern California!

This year the California Fitness Forum will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at the Buena Park Performing Arts Center. Make sure you check the tabs that correspond with your activity to ensure you find out all relevant information for your chosen activity.

Attention AAU Members…

We here at the World Fitness Alliance share in your grief at the loss of Mr. Martin Drake, he will be missed by thousands of people in our fitness industry.

To honor Marty, and those who competed for him and with him will receive special registration gift of: First category registered for is FREE! 2nd & 3rd categories will be charged at normal prices.

You must be prepared to present your AAU Card and/or AAU Membership number at onsite registration to receive the discounted rate.

Your AAU membership does NOT have to be current. However, all competitors at the World Fitness Alliance must have an active membership in the WFA. The membership is a calendar membership and must be renewed each year at the beginning of the calendar year. Please register as usual here, then discounts and refunds will take place at our on-site registration. Thank you.

Make it a Weekend Experience for family and friends! There’s tons to do in Buena Park too! After the show, plan to attend our Reception or a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Soak City, Medieval Times, Rock-and-Brews, and more. All are in walking distance of the Host Hotel.

Book a room for Friday & Saturday nights, and go right from your room to tanning, hair & makeup, drug testing, sponsorship interviews, posing clinics and more, all will take place at the Host Hotel. This way you won’t be late for, or miss anything! See you at the show!

The Championship

The WFA’s ”California Fitness Forum” Championship is will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, with a MANDATORY on-site check in on Friday, May 31st. Please see the Event Schedule tab for further details.

All events have Preliminary Judging Rounds, as well as final rounds. Both prelims and finals rounds will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. We are happy to announce that, once again, our Host Hotel & Competition Location is the DoubleTree by Hilton Buena Park located at 7000 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620 (map).

Posing Clinic

There will be a $20 Posing Clinic on Friday Evening!

This posing clinic is highly recommended so that you can be sure your posing is in alignment with what our judges are looking for. There will also be a mandatory Athlete’s Meeting on Saturday morning. Please refer back to the schedule for times and locations.

Please plan your Makeup, Hair & Tanning Appointments early, so that it doesn’t conflict with a time you need to be on stage!!!

Music

Some of our competition categories have Posing & Fitness routines set to their own music. All routines will be performed on Saturday, May 18, during the finals only. The Posing and Fitness routines are a part of your overall scores. Be sure that the music you chose is clean. (Clean enough for you to play for your grandmother) However, just in case she’s saltier than you are… this means no cursing, no bigotry or prejudicial words or lyrics; and absolutely no misogynistic words or lyrics debasing or disrespecting women!

Your music should be cut to the exact length of your particular Fitness or Posing routine, and should be no shorter than 30 seconds and no longer than 2:00 minutes. All music MUST BE RECEIVED via email to: info@worldfitnessallaince.net no later than Sunday, May 4. Any music received after that will have no guarantee that it will get played. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT OR DOWNLOAD MUSIC FOR YOU on the day of the show!

The ONLY categories that have personally selected music are listed below. YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ONE TRACK OR SONG PLAYED! All other categories will have music selected by the show promoter.

We are happy to have you as a part of our judging team this year. The following is some information you’ll need to know:

This year as last, our California Fitness Forum Championship will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. You can find the Event Schedule, and event location here on this page in a separate tab.
The will be a Judge’s Training & Dinner on Friday, May 31st, 2024. Please see the schedule tab for exact times and any updates.
Our host hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Buena Park and the competition location is at the Buena Park Performing Arts Center. Several of our staff, competitors and judges plan to stay at the hotel. Please consider doing so too, as it may make traveling back and forth a bit easier. And it’s great fun hanging out and getting to know everyone! Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of our first meeting. We will meet in the hotel lobby.
Judges: Please be sure to complete your Judge’s Registration Form, your Judge’s Bio, and Judge’s Waiver of Release of Liability, and submit it to us as soon as possible (forms coming soon).
Attire: Plan to dress casually on Friday, bring something to keep warm as those hotel ballrooms tend to be a bit cool. On Saturday, please dress business casual or better. Jeans are not permitted UNLESS you wear a blazer or sport coat/jacket with them.

THE WORLD FITNESS ALLIANCE HAS NATURAL (TESTED) CATEGORIES & DIVISIONS AND FREE CATEGORIES AND DIVISIONS. ALL NATURAL ATHLETES ARE SUBJECT TO A POLYGRAPH TEST! IF YOU COMPETE IN ANY NATURAL CATEGORY, AND YOU WIN OR FINISH TOP 3, YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO SUBMIT A TEST VIA URINE SAMPLE. ADDIONALLY, ALL NATURAL ATHLETES WILL BE SUBJECT TO ON THE SPOT, RANDOMLY SELECTED TESTING! CLICK HERE FOR ALL SUBSTANCES WE TEST FOR, AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU CANNOT HAVE USED EACH SUBSTANCE.
